Helping People Through Life’s Challenges

Todd County Health & Human Services’ mission is “People helping people through life’s challenges by maintaining integrity, providing education and sharing skills to empower individuals to their highest possible level of wellness.”

The department works collaboratively across its five units (Child Services, Community Health, Adult Services, Financial Support Services and Administrative Services) to ensure our residents basic needs are met. Health & Human Services staff promote the dignity, safety and rights of our clients and strive to assist each client to attain self-sufficiency within their individual capabilities.

The department promotes public accountability and trust through responsible use of available resources. The HHS department is overseen by a five member Board of Commissioners. In addition, Health & Human Services is a member of a three-county Community Health Board with Morrison and Wadena Counties and is governed by a Joint Powers Agreement.
