TWCC Gives Back
Aside from the continual goals of reducing recidivism and helping restore victims and communities, Todd-Wadena Community Corrections (TWCC) strives to give back to the community even more. Some examples of how Todd-Wadena Community Corrections gives back include:
- Maintains a section of Highway 71 through the Adopt-a-Highway Program
- Shovels out fire hydrants
- Donates between 1,100 – 1,400 pounds of produce to area food shelves a year
- Builds and gives away approximately 75 wood duck houses, 50 bluebird houses and 20 birdfeeders a year
- Donated bean bag games
- Donated wishing well planters
- Donated wheelbarrow planters
- Maintains and clean city parks
- Maintains and clean campgrounds in Todd and Wadena Counties
- School clean up – green areas/athletic complexes
- Speak at schools
- Participates in Child Protection Supper
- Participates in Todd and Wadena County Fairs
- Participates in National Night Out
- Participates in Career Fairs
- Donates to Child Protection Auction
- Agents serve on various boards and committees
